Mark and Mandy will be pleased to offer a warm Welsh welcome to all they host at our family run touring holiday park.

Whilst we are already offering fully serviced camping and caravan facilities, we have big plans ready for the 2011 season, with new features and facilities already being put in place.

Happy Jakes can be found at Flemingston in the beautiful The Vale of Glamorgan within South of Wales. This Village derives its name from the Family of Fleming, who possessed the Castle and Lordship of St. George's under Robert Fitzhamon. There are still some remains of a Castle adjoining the Church-yard; a part whereof is now used for purposes connected with husbandry.

The towns of Llantwit Major & Cowbridge are a short drive, along with the beaches of Llantwit, Nash, Southerndown and Ogmore by Sea

We accept touring caravans, motor homes, trailer tents and tents on to our site. All prices quoted include free hot water for the showers. We are also a pet friendly site and to this end your pets are also included in the price.

No matter what sort of holiday you are looking for, you will find Happy Jakes ideally situated for visits to the many Blue Flag beaches of the Heritage Coast or the many castles or just walking the Coastal paths. The choice is yours.

Access For All

We have exprienced first hand the way a disabled person can be energised by the countryside from our own son, Jake, who has enjoyed many holidays in our camper van. It is with this in mind that we are taking particular consideration to the facilities we offer and their ability to be used by those who are able and those who are less able. Amongst others a perfect example is our shower block which is being built with level access and comfortable wet room type showers, large enough to accommodate wheelchairs and carers if needed.

Another feature is Rachel's Walk, a sensory pathway 60 metres for the blind and partially sighted which will be full of the beautiful scents of flowers, chirping from the birds and the sounds of rustling leaves and bushes.
